Details have been announced to remember Criscilla Crossland Anderson, star of Country Ever After and ex-wife of country artist Coffey Anderson. She died earlier this month after a years-long battle with cancer. She was 45.
Criscillaâs funeral will take place at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at Hope Fellowship Prosper, a non-denominational church in Prosper, Texas. Per a post on Criscillaâs Instagram account: âIt is with love, intention, and deep respect for her wishes that we invite the public to celebrate the life of Criscilla Emma Marie.
âCriscilla was very specific about how she wanted this day to look and feel, and it has been an honor to help bring her vision to life,â the post states. Attendees are also asked to honor a dress code inspired by Criscilla: âNo black, please. Dress as Criscilla would. Coral and teal were her favorite colors, and we invite you to wear them in celebration of her. âŚPlease continue to pray over this day, over her children, and over everyone who loved her. My hope is that this gathering reflects the beauty, depth, and love she carriedâand that it is everything she imagined.â
Criscillaâs friend, a photographer named Lindsey, shared a posthumous message from Criscilla on Instagram on December 2. Crisilla, who battled cancer for seven years, wrote, in part, that âif youâre reading this, Iâve finally slipped into the arms of Jesus â peacefully and surrounded by love. Please donât stay in the darkness of this moment. I fought hard and I loved deeply. I am not gone⌠Iâm Home.â She shared heartfelt messages to loved ones, including to her children. She concluded her post: âBe gentle with each other. Hold my children close. And remember: heaven isnât as far away as it feels. I love you all. Always.â
