FLORIDA

Leon County

Residents are to limit their sandbags to 15 per household.

  • Leon County’s Northeast Branch Library, 5513 Thomasville Road
  • Apalachee Regional Park (Solid Waste Management Facility), 7550 Apalachee Parkway

  • Intersection of Oak Ridge Road and Ranchero Road

City of Tallahassee

Sandbags are limited to 25 bags per household. Residents must bring their shovels. Sites are available from 8a-5pm.

  • Jack McLean Community Center, 700 Paul Russell Road
  • Mike Blankenship Skate Park, 2909 Jackson Bluff Road
  • Northwood parcel, 1940 N. Monroe Street, near El Jalisco

Gadsden County

Sandbags can be picked up Wednesday September 25th until 3 p.m and the below locations. Residents must bring their own shovels and are limited to 15 bags per household.

  • Eugene Lamb Park -258 Lakeview Dr. Havana
  • Post Plant Pit off Post Plant Road. (St. Hebron area)
  • Sawdust Park- 3355 Providence Road. (Sawdust area)
  • Clark Pitt off Edwin Clark Road. (Greensboro area)
  • Rosedale Park -166 Charity Davis Circle (Bonnie Hill area)

Taylor County

Sandbags are limited to 15 bags and will be available until 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday September 25 at the following locations:

  • Perry Road Department
  • Steinhatchee roll off site

Wakulla County

The Wakulla County Sheriff’s Office will have sandbags available. The bags are limited to 10 per car.

Franklin County

Empty bags and sand will be available Wednesday by 5pm, residents must bring their own shovel. Locations:

  • The Old State Yard- 1090 Bluff Rd, Apalachicola, FL
  • Vrooman Park- 30 6th St, Eastpoint, FL
  • Old Courthouse Annex - 1647 HWY 98, Carrabelle, FL
  • SGI Firehouse - 324 E Pine Ave, St. George Island, FL

Jefferson County

Until further notice, sand and bags will be available until Wednesday 6 p.m. and residents must bring their own shovel. 15 bag per household limit.

  • Jefferson County Fire Rescue @ 57 Martin Road
  • Wacissa Volunteer Fire Station @ 14496 Waukeenah Hwy
  • Lloyd Volunteer Fire Station @ 8747 Old Lloyd Road
  • Ashville Volunteer Fire Station @ 10108 Ashville Hwy

Lafayette County

Sandbags will be available behind the Mayo Community Center until 6pm Wednesday. Residents are limited to 25 bags per household and must fill their own bags.

Madison County

Sandbags will be available at the Old Madison Middle School, located at 1210 MLK Jr. Drive.

GEORGIA

Thomas County

Sand and bags will be available at the following locations:

Lowndes County

Sand and sandbags will be available, residents will need to bring their own shovels and sandbags. Limit 10 bags per family.

Decatur County

Sandbags are available for pick up at the city of Bainbridge’s Public Works Office, located at 1503 Pierce Street.
