Gulf County Residents Important Storm Information

SANDBAGS 

Sandbags will be available at the Indian Pass Raw Bar tomorrow, Saturday September 9, 2017 at 9:00 am EDT for the Indian Pass residents that need them. 

EMERGENCY MEETING 

At the Friday, September 8, 2017 Emergency Meeting, the Board of County Commissioners issued a voluntary evacuation of all high-profile vehicles, such as RV’s and travel trailers from the T. H. Stone Memorial St. Joseph Peninsula State Park, Indian Pass Campground and Presnell’s starting tomorrow morning. Port St. Joe Elementary and Wewahitchka High School will be available for staging RV’s tomorrow morning at 9:00 am. The Emergency Meeting recessed and will reconvene tomorrow morning, Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 8:00 am EDT in the Donald H. Butler Commission Chamber located in the Robert M. Moore Administration Building at the Gulf County Courthouse Complex to discuss further actions. 

SHELTERS

There are currently NO shelters open in Gulf County, it will be announced when/if they open. 

BRIDGES 

Bridges will remain open until wind strength reaches SUSTAINED 45 MPH speeds
