Yep, that's me on the far left in 1996 at age 16. Those were the days. Someone tagged me in that photo on Facebook just the other day. And then I saw a really though-provoking topic that was trending on Twitter yesterday: What would you tell your 16-year-old self?
And people are sharing some great advice that they would impart to their 16-year-old selves. Advice ranging from spending more time with grandparents, telling your parents you love them, not allowing boyfriends/girlfriends to treat you badly, not wasting time trying to fit in.
This was is really good as well:
Learn music, smile, lie on your back and admire the clouds through the trees, ask your parents to tell you about what they did when they were 16, visit museums, go shopping with your grandparents, smile at Everyone, wash every day. Say thanks.— Pádraig Ó'Briain (@patavalon54) September 25, 2018
So I want to know what you think...what advice would you give your 16-year-old self if you could? E-mail me your answer(s) to email@example.com. I'll share your responses on the air!
