Want a Free Victorian House? But There's a Catch...

It's a Victorian-style home in Oakland, California and it dates back to 1900. Last year it sold for $1.5 million, and now it's being offered for free to anyone who can literally take it. The deed to the two-bedroom Victorian will be handed over to anyone who's willing to relocate it at his or her own expense by October 27th. There's a sign on the front lawn of the house that says "Free House, Must Be Moved".

I checked into it. It would easily cost six figures to move a house like this. And there's still no guarantee that the house wouldn't crumble or lose its structural integrity upon moving it. Oh well...
