Fans of the The Man in Black are going to love this. Johnny Cash: Forever Words is a new album based on the poetry of Johnny Cash, previously collected in a book with the same title.
The album will feature musical adaptations of Cash’s poems by Brad Paisley, Chris Cornell, Kacey Musgraves, Elvis Costello, Willie Nelson, the Jayhawks, Rosanne Cash, Kris Kristofferson, and Jamey Johnson, all done in their own unique way.
It's a total of 16 songs and due out April 6 from Legacy Recordings. Pretty awesome!
