We went to the FSU/Oakland game this past Sunday. We left during the 6th inning, because, you know, we have a toddler. We make our way around to the parking lot and we hear a bat make contact, then the crowd cheering. So we're thinking, "Nice. The Noles must have gotten a hit."
About that time, I see a ball flying about 20 feet over our heads landing in the parking lot. FSU first baseman Quincy Nieporte had just hit a home run, and it was scary just how close it came to hitting us. What a relief that it didn't.
So Nolan and I run over to the ball and he's so excited to get it. He didn't let go of the ball the rest of the afternoon:
FSU plays Boston College this weekend. 6pm game time tonight and tomorrow night and 1pm on Sunday. Go Noles!
