Norse Air Nightmare At Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport

A minor crash is blamed for causing major headaches for passengers at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport. A Norse Atlantic Airways flight to Oslo was taxiing for departure Friday when a wing tip hit construction equipment and sustained minor damage. That led to three days of delays as passengers would repeatedly arrive at the airport only to have the flight called off after hours of waiting. One passenger says it was the worst experience, and she felt abandoned by the airline. Another tells Local 10 News he got a crash course in lowered expectations. The plane finally took off last night.
