Class Of 2019: Lauren Jenkins

Every year Bobby picks a new class of new artists that he thinks will be successful. The artists on the list will have a yearlong promotion, to perform on the Bobby Bones Show, be a guest on the BobbyCast, a performance during the St. Jude Radiothon and more.

The only criteria these artists have to fit... they can't have ever had a top 40 song on the chart.

Another member announced in Bobby's Class of 2019 is Lauren Jenkins. Her bio reads,

Big Machine recording artist Lauren Jenkins has been a touring artist since she was 15 years old. The Texas born, Carolina-raised singer-songwriter chose a life that would fit perfectly in the songs she writes: across countless smoky bars, fake IDs, and endless miles on the road, music has been her one constant companion. Her first EP, The Nashville Sessions, was released in 2016. Lauren’s unfiltered lyrics and unmistakably authentic vocals blend traditional country roots with Americana influences; she’s equally at home with cheerful radio-friendly melodies one moment, and expressions of raw emotion the next. She has recently completed writing, co-producing, and starring in an original short film titled Running Out of Road that accompanies the release of her debut album, No Saint, due in early 2019.
