The 5th Dog For "K9s For Warriors" Gets A Name

#PIMPINJOY is a movement, a celebration dedicated to people who may be going through a rough time, but they choose to find and spread joy in their daily lives. The movement started with Amy's mom, Judy, and the positive #PIMPINJOY message she modeled so beautifully as she battled cancer.

Every so often we release new lines of the #PIMPINJOY brand to benefit various charities and programs. Recently we released our "retro" #PIMPINJOY shirts to benefit K9s for Warriors. The program provides service dogs to warriors The program provides service dogs to warriors suffering from post-traumatic stress disability (PTSD). $20K covers 1 service dog.

We said we would name the dogs after show members, by drawing out of a hat. First, we raised enough money to name four dogs - they were named Morgan #2, Amy, Ray then Bobby.

Then we raised enough to draw another name. Little Big Town helped us draw - it was Eddie's name.

Thanks to our listeners, we were able to raise another $20K to name one more dog and it was down to Lunchbox and Mike D. Lunchbox drew the name, Amy read it... and it was Lunchbox!
