Jelly Roll shared the heartwarming conversation he had with his wife, Bunnie Xo, when the couple celebrated their recent wedding anniversary.
The Beautifully Broken superstar caught up with iHeartRadio’s Emily Curl at the 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival presented by Capital One on Friday (September 19) at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Curl asked Jelly Roll, “what do you hope the next five years looks like for you both,” and he replied:
“Me and my wife started our relationship talking about (our) five-year plan. ...And I was like, ‘what’s your five-year plan?’ She always picks on me about it, and we were having a talk yesterday. We’re going into our 10th year now, starting our 10th year married. I said, ‘so I love you, baby. I don’t want to make a five-year plan anymore. I want to start talking about forever.’”
“I just got chills. I'm gonna cry,” Curl said.
Jelly Roll shared the heartfelt response after he and Curl chatted about Bunnie Xo’s upcoming memoir, Stripped Down: Unfiltered and Unapologetic. The book is due to arrive on February 10, 2026. Jelly Roll was quick to tell his wife that he’s “so proud of you and the work you put into the project.” He added while catching up with Curl that “if you know who Bunnie is and you like her, you’re going to love her. If you love her, you’re going to fall in love with her, and if you don’t know who she is, you’re going to be fascinated and blown away by this story.”
Jelly Roll, who recently performed for Pope Leo XIV, took the stage on Friday night with emotional power ballads, high-energy anthems, and a surprise medley of genre-blending covers. The star-studded, genre-spanning event returns on Friday and Saturday night (September 20) to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The lineup of the 2025 show includes Jelly Roll, plus Bailey Zimmerman, BigXthaPlug, Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran, Diplo, GloRilla, John Fogerty, Justice, LL COOL J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Sammy Hagar, Tate McRae, The Offspring, and Tim McGraw.
