Kenny Chesney announced the first two stops on his book tour on Tuesday (September 16).

On Saturday, November 1, the 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee will stop at East Tennessee Martin Center for the Arts in Johnson City, Tennessee. The following day, Sunday, November 2, Chesney will host another book tour stop at Back Bay Events Center in Boston, Massachusetts. Those events will take place at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., respectively. Chesney teased, “more events” will be announced at a later date. Tickets to the book tour will be available on Friday (September 19) at 10 a.m. local time.

Chesney teamed up with journalist and longtime friend and collaborator Holly Gleason to chronicle his life story in Heart Life Music. The memoir takes readers on a journey from Chesney’s childhood in East Tennessee to headlining massive stadium tours and more throughout his life Chesney previously admitted he “always said I’d never write a book,” but ultimately changed his tune because he wanted his fans “to share the magic” of his lifelong experiences. Chesney said in an interview with CBS Mornings that rather than a memoir, he considers Heart Life Music a collection of “very intimate postcards, if you will, of my life in this business, on the road, in the islands.”

“We were trying to create snapshots of my journey, vignettes of my soul,” Chesney said in a previously-issued press release, “and lots of my friends since I started on this magic carpet ride. I moved to Nashville in January 1991, and here we are, talking about it in this book. Sitting here looking at the ocean, hearing these waves crashing, we can’t wait. Especially if you’ve been part of this journey, I can’t wait for you to relive it…and for those who weren’t part of this journey, we hope you take something from this and apply it to your life, we can’t for you to…read it.”

Heart Life Music will make its debut on November 4.
