Jana Kramer’s costar got his “revenge” after she pulled an end-of-movie prank.

Kramer will star in The Christmas Ring, alongside Kelsey Grammer and Benjamin Hollingsworth. When the Whine Down with Jana Kramer host recruited a team to help her cover Hollingsworth’s trailer in tin foil, Hollingsworth planned a prank of his own.

“My sweet revenge,” he wrote in a caption on Instagram on Tuesday (August 12). “[Kramer] u had it comin’ - BACKSTORY - last day of filming Jana and her Minions broke into my trailer and tin-foiled the entire thing. Like everything; floor ceilings, couch, toilet, TV, remotes even the handle underneath my desk chair. It was ruthless and executed perfectly. I told her I would have revenge, she was skeptical - I was determined. My wife [Nila Hollingsworth] had borrowed her blouse and skirt for a scene in the movie Nila was in. We said we would dry clean it for her and drop it off as nice people do. But after the prank I had other plans.”

Hollingsworth clarified that Kramer’s “actual skirt and blouse went undamaged and I replaced it with some of my older clothes,” to pull off the prank. Kramer commented: “Well played. Well played.”

Kramer shared a tribute to Hollingsworth and the cast and crew of The Christmas Ring on Instagram on Tuesday afternoon. She said her “heart is so full,” and she’s “feeling beyond grateful for the chance to work alongside such an incredibly talented cast and crew who poured so much heart into every scene.

“Ben — thank you for being an absolute dream of a scene partner. And to Karen and Tyler — your words, your vision, and your trust allowed us all to bring something truly beautiful to life,” she continued. “It’s been such an honor to be part of a project that holds so much love and meaning. Can’t wait for you all to see it in theaters November 6th. 🎄💍”

The Christmas Ring is a film adaptation of author Karen Kingsbury's upcoming book. The movie, directed by Tyler Russell, about “a military widow (who) falls in love while searching for her lost family Christmas Ring, an heirloom that has been in the family since D-Day,” the description reads on IMDb. Kingsbury's book will make its debut on October 21. The Christmas Ring film adaptation will premiere on November 6.
