Tim McGraw looked nearly unrecognizable in new photos taken in Nashville, Tennessee.
Photographer John Shearer captured snapshots of the country star debuting a shaved head while working in Music City. PEOPLE obtained Shearer’s photos and shared them on Instagram on Wednesday afternoon (July 30). See the photos here.
McGraw, 58, shared a sneak peek of a soon-to-release ballad on Wednesday. The country icon will deliver “Hey King Rodeo” on Friday (August 1). His most recent studio album is Standing Room Only, which arrived in August 2023. McGraw’s newest music adds to decades of hits throughout his career, including “I Like It, I Love It,” “Live Like You Were Dying,” “Something Like That,” and more. McGraw is part of the star-studded lineup of the genre-spanning iHeartRadio Music Festival presented to Capital One, which is slated to return later this year to T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. The two-day festival will also include performances by Bryan Adams, Ed Sheeran, Feid, GloRilla, Jelly Roll, John Fogerty, Justice, Lil Wayne, LL COOL J, Mariah Carey, Maroon 5, Sammy Hagar, Tate McRae, The Offspring, and more to be announced.
The 2025 iHeartRadio Music Festival will take place on September 19 and 20.
