Country music rising star, Ashley McBryde is making waves again, but this time itâs not on the radio. Instead, its television! Ashley has been nominated for her first Daytime Emmy Award.
The âGirl Goin Nowhereâ singer, recently tweeted âHoly crap! What is life right now!?! Thank you so much @DaytimeEmmys, @CBSThisMorning Saturday, @AnthonyMasonCBSâ after discovering that she had been nominated for a 2019 Day Emmy Award for her performance on âCBS This Morning Saturday.â
Ashley is nominated for the âOutstanding Musical Performance in a Daytime Programâ category alongside Isreal & Adrienne Houghton, Lindsey Stirling, the cast of Broadwayâs The Band, and Ben Rector. Ashleyâs CBS This Morning Saturday appearance took place in late December where she performed three songs: "Girl Goin' Nowhere," "El Dorado" and "American Scandal." All three tracks come from her Grammy-nominated debut album, 'Girl Going Nowhere.â
The 2019 Daytime Emmy Awards will take place on May 5th at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium in Pasadena, California. A complete list of nominees can be seen HERE.
