Taylor Swift is back on country radio and already expressing her gratitude.
The pop megastar sings on Sugarlandâs new single âBabe,â which Taylor herself co-wrote with Trainâs Pat Monahan for her Red album.
In a new Instagram video, Taylor thanks fans âfor all the nice things [theyâve] been sayingâ about the song.
âIâm so happy that it gets its own life,â she says of the song, which didnât make the cut on Red. âIâm so happy that Sugarland wanted to record it and has done such a great job with it. Iâm so stoked to be able to sing on it, too.â
Sugarland revealed backstage at the ACM Awards how the collaboration came to be.
â[Taylor] was excited we were getting back together,â Jennifer Nettles says, âand reached out and said, âHey! I have a song.â And that is a short list, ladies and gentlemen, of people to whom she has said, âHey! I have a song. Want to sing it?â So we said, âYeah!ââ
Look for âBabeâ on Sugarlandâs new album, Biggerâout June 8.
