On Tuesday, July 4, 2017, the City of Tallahassee will proudly present Celebrate America, the city’s annual Independence Day celebration. This year’s entertainment will feature some of Tallahassee’s most popular bands to include Tom & The Cats and Tallahassee Nights Live. Main Stage activities will kick off around 5:30 pm. The Showmobile Stage will delight one and all with a variety of song and dance acts by local youth, to include the Tallahassee Community College Dance Company and The Lost Sheep band.
NOTE: The following items are strictly prohibited inside the StarMetro buses and at Tom Brown Park on July 4:
No Personal Fireworks (to include sparklers!)
No Personal Alcohol (a public beer garden will be available to those 21 years and older and with a valid ID.
No Animals, except for certified service animals
No Personal Tents in spectator seating areas
The Tom Brown Dog Park will be closed starting at 5:00 pm on Monday, July 3 and all day July 4 and will reopen at 6:00 am on Wednesday, July 5.
