Burt Reynolds passed away today at the age of 82. Sources are saying that the cause of death is heart failure.
We will miss Burt dearly. And we will always treasure his love and support of Florida State Seminole Athletics.
Burt went to FSU as a freshman in 1954, and played halfback for the football team, before launching into a monumental film career that spanned six decades.
He garnered numerous accolades, including an Oscar nomination in 1997 for Boogie Nights. His roles in Deliverance and the Smokey and the Bandit films proved to be his most memorable.
